Manheim, PA - The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) released the 2024-2025 NCAA Division III Men's Preseason Coaches Poll on Monday morning, with last year's champions, Augsburg, leading the way once again with 54 points. Close behind is last year's national runners-up, Wartburg, who claimed the #2 spot with 44.5 points. Rounding out the top five are UW-La Crosse in third with 40.5 points, UW-Eau Claire in fourth with 39.5 points, and Baldwin Wallace in fifth, accumulating 35.5 points.
UW-Eau Claire is the only program with two wrestlers ranked #1 in their respective weight classes, Jared Stricker (174 lbs) and Niall Schoenfelder (184 lbs).
