"This is a huge accomplishment and something we are so proud of. It's not something that just happens, it's intentional," UIndy Head Coach Jason Warthan said. "It's a pat on the back to the guys we recruit and our program's commitment to academics. At the end of the day, that's what you want- you want guys to value getting a degree, you want guys that value taking that seriously. It is not just about the wrestling on the mat, this is a testament to our guys and their level of focus on getting degrees. This is our 4th team academic title since 2011, and I am super excited about that. This has become part of our tradition and our expectation, strong academics are a part of our culture."
