KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (Brackets – PDF) The Preliminary Brackets for the 2025 NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championships have been released by the National Office. Hosted by Visit Wichita at Park City Arena in Park City, Kan., the event takes place on March 14th and 15th.
Brackets were determined by a 12-member committee consisting of conference raters and oversight members from each of the six sponsoring conferences in the NAIA. A total of 210 wrestlers were placed within the 10 weight classes. All matches in Sessions I, II, and III at the national championships will be streamed live via FloWrestling. Session IV and the awards ceremonies will be streamed live on the NAIA Network and the Urban Edge Network.
Each conference tournament awards automatic bids per weight class based on the final regular-season rating, which can be seen HERE. Each conference is awarded automatic berths based on the number of wrestlers ranked in each weight class. Each conference is awarded a minimum of one automatic bid per weight class, which will go to the tournament champions, even if the conference did not have any wrestlers ranked in the final regular-season rating. If a conference does not have an individual ranked in the final top 17, an allocation will be granted to ensure each conference is represented at each weight class at the National Championships.
210 total wrestlers qualified for the women's wrestling national championship this year, with the Mid-South Conference leading the way with 56 total qualifiers. The Heart of America Conference follows with a total of 46 wrestlers qualifying. William Penn (Iowa), Life (Ga.), Grand View (Iowa), Doane (Neb.), and Providence (Mont.) all travel to Wichita, Kan., with 12 wrestlers, while Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) will travel with 11 wrestlers.
