INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA has released the standings for the 2026 NCAA Women's Wrestling Awards. These will be awarded in March during the very first Women's Wrestling Championship.
The three awards will honor the Most Dominant Wrestler as well as the student-athletes that have accumulated the most falls and the most technical falls throughout the course of the regular and postseasons.

For falls and tech falls to be counted for the awards they must come against opponents from other NCAA women's varsity programs. Ties in the two categories are broken based on the aggregate time.
Leading in number of falls is Mount Union's Lori Grimes at 180-pounds collecting 20 in 30:03. In close pursuit, Ella Gahl of Manchester and Taylor Miess of North Central College complete the top three with 18 and 17, respectively.
The leader in tech falls with comes from Northern Michigan University's Sophia Bassino with 15. Close behind, trailing by one is Presbyterian's Kassey Daugherty. Abigal Mozden of Mount Union at 131-pounds has 14 tech falls in 39:35.

The initial Most Dominant Wrestler standings will be released later this season to allow wrestlers to achieve the minimum number of matches required to be eligible for the standings.
