The National Wrestling Coaches Association is now accepting nominations for its High School All-American Awards, recognizing high school student-wrestlers who excel both academically and through character-driven leadership.
Coaches are encouraged to nominate deserving athletes from their programs for the following honors:
NOTE: Coaches must be current NWCA members to nominate their athletes.
High School Scholar All-American
This award recognizes varsity student-wrestlers who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement alongside their commitment to the sport.
Minimum Requirements for Consideration

Minimum 3.5 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale)

GPA may be based on Fall Semester or Cumulative coursework

Athlete must be a 2025–26 Varsity Letterwinner
There is no limit to the number of athletes that may be nominated per team.
Nominate
High School Character & Leadership All-American
This award honors student-wrestlers who exemplify leadership and integrity within their program, school, and community.
Selection Criteria Nominees are evaluated on the following qualities:

Dependability, Judgment, Endurance, Initiative, Tact, Integrity, Unselfishness, Loyalty, Courage

Open to JUNIOR and SENIOR high school student-wrestlers only
