Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced the inaugural 3C2A Men's Scholar Awards, recognizing outstanding academic achievement by both teams and individual student-athletes across the California Community College Athletic Association.
Leading the team standings was Cerritos College, earning top honors with a team GPA of 3.50. Lemoore College finished second with a 3.22 GPA, followed by No. 3 Sacramento City College's 3.13 GPA.
On the individual side, a total of 36 student-athletes representing eight institutions were recognized for their academic success in the classroom while competing throughout the season.
The academic awards follow the conclusion of the 3C2A Men's Championships, which took place December 12-13. Mt. San Antonio College captured the team title with 165.5 points.
