Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced the recipients of the 2026 NCAA Division II Men's Super Regional Coach of the Year awards, presented by Defense Soap.
Each honoree was recognized at the coaches meeting prior to each of the Super Regional Championships. They are now finalists for the National Coach of the Year honor to be awarded before next week's National Championships in Sioux Falls, SD.
Super Regional Coaches of the Year
Super Region 1 – Tom Boyd, Gannon
Super Region 2 – RC LaHaye, Lander
Super Region 3 – Tony Guerra, Tiffin
Super Region 4 – Todd Steidley, Central Oklahoma
Super Region 5 – Jim Makovsky, Minnesota State
Super Region 6 – Dalton Jensen, Nebraska-Kearney
"These regional award winners represent the very best of Division II wrestling leadership," said NWCA Executive Director
Mike Moyer. "We congratulate each of them and thank them for their tireless efforts in leading their teams, developing their student-athletes, and advancing the sport at the regional and national levels."
