NWCA Announces NJCAA Women’s National Coach of the Year Presented by Defense Soap

Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) is proud to announce that Jake Hamilton of Southeast Community College has been named the 2026 NJCAA Women's National Coach of the Year, presented by Defense Soap.

In just his first season as head coach at Southeast Community College, Hamilton has made an immediate and measurable impact on the program. He guided the Storm to a 10-2 record while continuing to build on the foundation he helped establish during his previous season as Associate Head Coach.

"Coach Hamilton has poured himself into this program and into the lives of his student-athletes," said NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer. "You can see the work ethic and belief he brings to the room every day. He's deeply committed to helping his athletes succeed on the mat and in life, and this recognition is well earned."
