Registration Opens for Wrestling’s Largest Virtual Career Fair

Current college wrestlers and recent graduates can connect directly with employers who recognize the value wrestlers bring to the workplace.

MANHEIM, PA - The Wrestlers in Business Network (WIBN), an operating division of the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), has opened job seeker registration for Wrestling's Largest Virtual Career Fair. The free event will take place Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 5–9 p.m. Eastern Time.

Created specifically for current college wrestlers and individuals who graduated within the past five years, the virtual career fair will connect participants with employers offering internships, full-time positions, mentorship, and other professional opportunities.

The event builds on the success of last year's career fair, which attracted approximately 1,200 student-athletes.

"Wrestling develops qualities employers consistently tell us they value: discipline, resilience, accountability, coachability, and the ability to perform under pressure," said Mike Moyer, Executive Director of the National Wrestling Coaches Association. "Our responsibility does not end when an athlete wrestles their final match. Preparing wrestlers for success in life is central to our mission, and that includes connecting them with employers who understand the value of their wrestling experience."

Participants will be able to meet virtually with employers representing a variety of industries and explore opportunities ranging from internships and entry-level positions to long-term career pathways.

For WIBN Executive Director Scotti Sentes, the event is about ensuring wrestlers have access to meaningful opportunities during and after their competitive careers.

"Wrestlers spend years developing the qualities companies want, but possessing those qualities and having access to the right opportunity are two different things," Sentes said. "Our goal is to put those opportunities directly in front of them. One conversation or connection can change the direction of someone's career."

The career fair also gives participating employers access to a distinctive and motivated talent pool.

"The wrestling community is filled with people who understand hard work, sacrifice, pressure, and the value of being coached," Sentes said. "When we help companies find outstanding employees and help wrestlers build successful careers, everyone benefits, including the sport of wrestling."

The virtual career fair is part of WIBN's broader career advancement initiative, which connects members of the wrestling community with internships, careers, skilled trades, military opportunities, mentorship, and professional development.
