National Wrestling Coaches Association

Dave Kemmy has been coaching wrestling for nearly 40 years. He started at the high school level in Rhode Island, where he was a two-time Rhode Island Coach of the Year and coached 16 All-Americans in 13 seasons. He then coached for 18 years at NCAA Division III Roger Williams University, winning five league titles, one New England Championship, and coaching six All-Americans. He served eight years as the Director of Athletics at RWU, and also served as Deputy Director of the NWCA. He has served on the NWCA Executive Committee and Board of Directors, and has been a three-time Chair of the NCAA Division III Wrestling Committee. He is also very active for several wrestling coaching associations at the local and national levels.

Kemmy started a brand new boys high school program in Florida last season and has posted a 17-7 record in two seasons. He is currently working with women’s collegiate programs for the NWCA.
