Dr. Jackie Paquette joined the NWCA as Deputy Director and Chief of Staff in June of 2022.
Prior to coming to the NWCA, Paquette was Senior Associate Director of Athletics and the Senior Woman Administrator at the University of Indianapolis. While at UIndy, Paquette had sport oversight of the wrestling program and also served as its academic advisor and sports communications contact.
She also served as chairperson of the NCAA Division II Wrestling Committee in her time at UIndy, and still serves in facilitating the NCAA Division II Men's Wrestling Championships each year. With the NWCA, Paquette has worked with the NCAA Division II Men's Scholar All-American awards since 2018, and also coordinated the Division II Coaches Association Rankings since 2020. Paquette has also served the National Wrestling Media Association as Vice President for Media Relations.
Paquette received bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and History, with a minor in Media Arts, from Butler University in 2007. She earned her master's degree in Sports Administration from UIndy in May of 2014, and doctorate of education in Sports Management from Northcentral University in June of 2021.
