Jim Fallis started working with the NWCA in 2015, and has served the Association in various capacities in that time.
Fallis brings 12 years of collegiate coaching experience and 26 years of collegiate administration experience to his position as Leadership Group Coordinator. He served a combined 26 years as an athletics director at three institutions, after beginning his career in college athletics as a coach and college professor. He led the athletics department at Lake Superior State University (LSSU) from 1986-93, the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) from 1993-2004, and Northern Arizona University (NAU) from 2004-12.
As a coach, Fallis led the program at his alma mater, Lake Superior State, for 12 years prior to being named Director of Athletics. Fallis led the Lakers to a 77-56 record, including a 10-0 slate in 1985-86. Twelve All-Americans placed in national competition on 22 occasions, and LSSU posted eight top-20 finishes during his tenure. As a student-athlete at LSSU, Fallis was a three-time National Champion, and five-time All-American.
Fallis is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, Lake Superior State, Northern Colorado, NAIA, Jim Koch Division II Wrestling and North Central Conference Halls of Fame. He and his wife, Anna, reside in Las Vegas, Nevada and he enjoys traveling.
