Manheim, PA - The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced the Inaugural NJCAA Women's Scholar All-America award winners, recognizing outstanding student-athletes. Fourteen scholar-athletes from Carl Albert State and Indian Hills have been honored with this prestigious award.

Indian Hills had ten honorees, while Carl Albert State had three student-athletes who have demonstrated both exceptional academic and athletic performance.

This year, the NJCAA held its first Women's Wrestling Invitational Championship, another significant milestone for women's wrestling. The tournament was held concurrently with the men's annual event in Council Bluffs, IA, at the Mid-America Center.

NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer expressed his pride in the outstanding athletes and acknowledged their exceptional work and dedication both on and off the mat. He added, "It's a great honor to recognize these exceptional athletes for their achievements. Congratulations to all the honorees, and we wish them continued success in their academic and athletic pursuits."
