NWCA Announces 2023 NAIA Women's Scholar All-America Awards (CORRECTED)

Manheim, PA - The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced Thursday the recipients of the 2022-23 Scholar All-America Team and Individual awards for the NAIA Women's Division. The prestigious recognition was bestowed on 68 individuals from 11 distinguished institutions.

Life University secured the top position in the team race with a remarkable 3.85 GPA, followed by Grand View with a 3.655 and Southern Oregon with a 3.549.

Moreover, Life University leads the list of individual honorees with 14 Scholar All-American selections, followed by Grand View with 12 and Iowa Wesleyan's ten honorees.

NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer expressed admiration towards these remarkable student-athletes, saying, "It is an absolute honor to recognize them for their incredible accomplishments. These wrestlers have demonstrated an unwavering dedication to their academic and athletic pursuits, and we proudly celebrate their achievements."
