Manheim, PA – The 2025 Division II Men's Super Region Wrestlers of the Year and Rookies of the Year were announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association Wednesday afternoon.
The six Super Region Wrestlers of the Year and Rookies of the year represent each of the six regions, with these nominees now moving on to be voted for the Division II National Wrestler of the Year and Division II National Rookie of the Year by the coaches of NCAA Division II men's programs.

From Super Region 1, National Finalist Isaiah Vance of Pitt-Johnstown earned the region's Wrestler of the Year honors after his first Finals appearance at 285 pounds. The Rookie of the Year in SR1 was from first-year program Felician, who qualified for the 2025 NCAA DII Championships at 133 pounds.
Super Region 2's Wrestler of the Year is a familiar face, as 165 pound National Champion David Hunsberger of Lander took the honor after winning his second National title in Indianapolis. His teammate, Christian Davis, earned Rookie of the Year honors after taking 3rd place at 133 pounds at the NCAA Championships.
In Super Region 3, last year's National Wrestler of the Year, Ty McGeary of West Liberty is again this season's honoree after winning his third straight NCAA title at 184 pounds. His teammate, James Armstrong, is the SR3 Rookie of the Year after qualifying for the NCAA Championships at 133 pounds in his first collegiate season.
Super Region 4's Wrestler of the Year is Derek Blubaugh of Indianapolis for the second-straight season, after capping his career with a second-straight 197 pound NCAA title. Central Missouri 285 Torin Forsyth is the SR4 Rookie of the Year.
From Super Region 5, 133 pound National Champion Reece Barnhardt of UMary is the region's Wrestler of the Year. Colton Hush of Minnesota State is the SR5 Rookie of the Year, after qualifying for Nationals in his first season at 141 pounds.
Super Region 6's Wrestler of the Year is Johnny Lopez of San Francisco State, who ended his season as the 141 pound NCAA Division II National Champion. The SR6 Rookie of the Year comes from CSU-Pueblo in Eddie Bowman, who qualified for the 2025 NCAA Championships at 133 pounds.
The 2025 NCAA Division II National Wrestler of the Year and Rookie of the Year will be announced Monday, March 31 by the NWCA.
