Leading Event Management Platform Powering High School Events Across the Country To Be Delivered at No Cost Beginning In The 2027-28 Season
AUSTIN, TX – (October 12, 2026) –Â
FloSports, one of the
largest investors to the sport of wrestling, today announced aÂ
$1 million annual commitment to make itsÂ
Trackwrestling Bundle available atÂ
no cost to partner state associations and their member schools beginning with the 2027-28 wrestling season. The investment will have a direct impact on more than
 15,000 programs andÂ
360,000 athletes who use theÂ
weight management,Â
statistics, andÂ
event management software across the U.S., freeing up dollars to be reinvested into the sport. As part of the announcement, FloSports will also provideÂ
National Wrestling Coaches Association membership at zero cost to its partners.Â
"The FloSports mission is to grow our sports everyday and when we can make the sport cheaper for state associations and schools we make it easier for them to invest in the sport. This is both a mission and a strategy for success and we will not stop working toward fulfilling this goal," saidÂ
Shane Benitz, GM of FloWrestling.Â
FloSports will useÂ
additional investment to reinforce itsÂ
dedicated FloWrestling partnership team so that it can provide direct support and proactive communication with association leaders and member schools.
The initiative reflects
FloSports' continued investment in wrestling infrastructure,Â
reducing the financial and administrative demands on the organizations that support the sport while expanding access to coaching education and athlete development resources. Since 2021,Â
FloSports has contributed more thanÂ
$3 million to the NWCA. This has helped the organization establish
35-50 new men's and women's college wrestling programs each year, along withÂ
free coaching development workshops for scholastic and collegiate coaches, including more than
 100 scholarships to theÂ
Collegiate Leadership Academy each year. FloSports has committed to growing this investment into 2027 and beyond.Â
Mike Moyer, Executive Director of the NWCAÂ commented, "FloSports has an outsized impact on the sport of wrestling. Their financial support accounts for nearly 25 percent of our operating budget and their technical support through tools like Trackwrestling powers thousands of events from the youth to college level. Making Trackwrestling free to these programs is going to have a profound impact on the future growth of the sport."Â
To further provide support for wrestling FloSports is rolling out two new mobile apps intended to help with the scoring and streaming of events at all levels. The
FloWrestling Scorekeeper app, available now at no cost in theÂ
Apple App Store, allows teams to score dual meets on anÂ
iPhone orÂ
iPad, with results automatically syncing to the OPC. This mobile scoring experience helps coaches keep results and statistics connected to the platform they use to manage their teams.
This will be augmented by the
 FloWrestling BroadcasterÂ
app (coming soon), which lets coaches and programs turn an iPhone or iPad into aÂ
professional grade production setup. The app automatically tracks the action, follows wrestlers, and syncs withÂ
FloWrestling Scorekeeper app to display real-time scores and overlays. These are the first products to roll out at the consumer level with more on the horizon to help power the management and distribution of wrestling events across the U.S.
The Trackwrestling Bundle will include:
- OPC Weight Management: School access to the system used to manage wrestling weight requirements.
- Trackwrestling Statistics: School access to tools for recording and managing team and athlete statistics.
- Unlimited Event Management: Use of Trackwrestling software for sanctioned in-season tournaments, dual meets, individual events, postseason qualifiers and state championships.
- NWCA Membership: Access to a comprehensive technique library, a student-athlete leadership course, coaching development tools and resources, free CEO Leadership Academies for high school coaches, and an awards and recognition program.
State associations interested in the Trackwrestling Bundle can contact the Trackwrestling partnership team for details about participation and the transition to the 2027-28 model here:Â
