Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) proudly announces that Cody Carpenter of Muskegon Community College has been named the 2026 NJCAA Men's National Coach of the Year, presented by Defense Soap.
Carpenter, a former two-time NJCAA national qualifier for the Jayhawks and an Academic All-American during his competitive career, has continued to pour that same discipline and commitment into his coaching.
"Cody represents what we value in our coaching community," said NWCA Executive Director
Mike Moyer. "He's a tireless worker who genuinely cares about his athletes as people first. His dedication to building strong young men and elevating his program makes him more than deserving of this honor."
