Manheim, PA - The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) and Bellevue University today announced a formal educational partnership designed to support the academic and professional advancement of student-athletes, coaches, and NWCA members across the country. Through this collaboration, NWCA members will gain access to the newly launched Coaching Leadership Academies; fully online, self-paced courses offering three undergraduate or graduate credit hours to help coaches develop essential leadership skills for building and sustaining wrestling programs.

Bellevue University serves residential students on its main campus in Bellevue, NE (near Omaha) with more than 80 accredited undergraduate, graduate and credential programs available online and on campus. COLLEGIATE COACHING LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Designed for current and aspiring college wrestling coaches, this 17-module course covers:

• Program building and long-term development
• Recruiting, budgeting, and scheduling
• Team culture and leadership
• Athlete academics, health, and well-being
• NIL, branding, and community engagement

Enrollment: $650 (Graded); $450 (Pass/No Pass)
 

SCHOLASTIC COACHING LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Designed for current and aspiring high school wrestling coaches, this 15-module course covers:

• Program building and administrative routines
• Parent and school community engagement
• Athlete leadership and life skills development
• Wrestler safety, health, and mental well-being
• Social media, branding, and fundraising

Enrollment: $650 (Graded); $450 (Pass/No Pass)

Flexible Learning Options

Both courses are:

• Fully online and self-paced
• Available for immediate enrollment
• Transferable for 3 undergraduate credit hours
• Eligible for professional development hours (varies by institution)
